which provide education and skill
building in non-violent communication
for dealing with their anger.
The program will teach clients assertiveness,
effective conflict resolution
and stress reduction. The

| Hospice of Santa Barbara provides FREE support groups for people in bereavement such as widow/widower groups, suicide groups, people who have gone through the loss of a child or other family members, as well as children’s groups. Hospice also provides a group for people who have had organ transplants, those who have been told they need one, or are waiting for one.

Families and Friends of Stroke Survivors |
| Coast Caregiver Resource Center and Rehabilitation Institute at Santa Barbara have a newly established support group for families and friends of those who are living with the effects of a stroke. There is also a socialization group for stroke survivors that meets at the same time.
