| A psychotherapist and credentialed schoolteacher, I have worked with children of all ages and their families for the past 20 years. This unique background--combining family therapy, child development, and education--provides a strong foundation for meeting individual, child, and family needs and fostering long-term happiness and success. In general, the families I work with are dealing with issues of infant, child, and adolescent development. Families may be facing such challenges as preparing for the arrival of a newborn, children's behavior issues or depression, school-related concerns, and life transitions. I provide a peaceful and well-organized therapy setting with minimal distractions. There are carefully chosen materials and resources for all members of the family: infants, children, and parents. With healing as the goal, the therapeutic work may be long- or short-term according to the needs of clients. | ||
